Om Nom Stories
An animated web series following Om Nom's daily adventures.
**Om Nom Stories** (also referred to simply as *Om Nom*) is an animated web series from Zeptolab that follows the green, blob-like monster Om Nom, originally from the *Cut the Rope* video games. The show expands on his life outside the game world and draws from four titles in the series: the original *Cut the Rope*, *Cut the Rope: Time Travel*, *Cut the Rope 2*, and *Cut the Rope: Magic*. Its first season, along with the first and last episodes of the second season (*Time Travel*), blend live-action footage with animation; the rest are fully animated. The series debuted on YouTube on December 9, 2011.
**Production** Zeptolab released a pilot on December 9, 2011, in response to fan demand for more Om Nom content. Its success led to a full first season, which aired from October 24, 2012, inside the *Cut the Rope* and *Cut the Rope: Experiments* apps, on Zeptolab’s YouTube channel, and in over 19,000 U.S. movie theaters through a partnership with National CineMedia’s FirstLook pre-show. In October 2021, a spin-off called *Eve and Om Nom: Delivery Duo* was announced, co-produced by Zeptolab and StoryTime, with Om Nom running a parcel service alongside a new human friend, Eve. A first season of 52 five-minute episodes was planned, but the project was later scrapped and reworked into an original IP, *Eva and Tuk-Tuk: Delivery Duo*, which follows the same concept. In 2022, production moved to the Metaxilasis animation studio.
**Broadcast** The show aired on CITV in the UK and Toons.TV in the US from 2014 to 2017, and on Ketchup TV starting in 2014. In October 2018, Turner Broadcasting System acquired the first five seasons for distribution in Latin America. On August 12, 2019, the spin-off *Learn English with Om Nom* began airing as part of BatteryPOP on the former Qubo network. On March 26, 2020, it was announced that *Om Nom Stories* would start on Azteca 7 in Latin America in May, and also appear on Totalplay and LATAM Airlines’ in-flight system. On August 1, 2023, seasons 2, 4, and 15 were released on Netflix. In February 2024, Disney+ acquired the first 25 seasons for European release in Q4 2024, and they were added on October 5, 2024. On June 19, 2024, German company Your Family Entertainment struck a deal to release the series on Fix&Foxi TV.
